St John Fisher U12 Netball Squad take part in competition at Loughborough University
What an an amazing experience for our U12 Netball Squad after qualifying for the Sisters n Sport Final 4 competition held at Loughborough University.
The team played a very experienced and well drilled Epson College in their first match losing 6-28. They were then taken on a tour of the university to see the amazing sports facilities and even some elite athletes in training. This seemed to inspire and motivate the girls as they then went on to play Rossall School, as they played their best netball of the season. Going into the final quarter the match couldn’t have been any closer as they were one goal down with the score at 9-10. However, a few unforced errors meant we lost our shooting opportunities and ended up losing the match 10-15. Well done to all the players involved as they are an absolute credit to the school and a pleasure to coach.
