New figures from the Department for Education (DfE) have revealed which state schools in Leeds have the best success rate for students going on to higher education at one of the country's Russell Group universities.

Nearly a third (29 per cent) of St. Mary’s Sixth Form students went on to study at a Russell Group university.
It works out as 113 students and no other state school or college across Leeds had a higher success rate.
