Year 1 had a lovely morning learning about toys. The children enjoyed the chance to handle old and new toys from the museum’s nationally important collection and to discover how children played in the past.
Primary schools in our Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust are going to raise money for a sock appeal. Year 13 Students from St. Mary’s Menston who visited South Africa in June 2018 presented the assemblies.
This week Year 5 have used a range of sources of evidence to find out about life in Ancient Greece and also held a Greek pottery Workshop.

Well done to our Year 6 football team, who recently won a home game against Froebelian. It was a fantastic team effort from everyone and a great way to start off our league season.

The ten schools in The Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust participated in the Bishop’s annual Good Shepherd Celebration at St. Anne’s Cathedral on Friday 11 May 2018.
We had a very enjoyable afternoon with a game of bingo and cakes galore.

This week the children have been working really hard in competition with other schools, earning lots of points on Mathletics.
