Students from St. Mary’s, Menston and St. Joseph’s, Pudsey took part in a Tour de Yorkshire legacy event.
Over three days, children and young people from 160 schools across Yorkshire took part in a cycling relay to celebrate National Bike Week. The baton travelled 400 miles from the start in Pickering, North Yorkshire to its final destination in Millennium Square, Leeds. The event aims to encourage more young people to take up cycling by promoting it as a fun way to travel to school and to promote an active lifestyle whilst improving air quality and reducing congestion outside schools.
Well done to our cyclists!
