St. Joseph's Harrogate Year 6 Visit to Harrogate Hebrew Congregation

As part of the Year 6 World Faith RE curriculum teaching, this week they visited the Harrogate Hebrew Congregation place of worship. This was a very successful visit and below are some pictures and quotes.

Beth: It was interesting but in a really fun way.

Frazer: I liked the final thought that Mike left us with: “Our world is in a terrible way because of all the religious wars. We should be kind to each other and appreciate everyone’s different beliefs.”

Josh W: My favourite part was lifting the Torah. I found it difficult. I realise it’s an important job because everyone needs to see it.

Mark K: I was hooked in straight away because of how the synagogue was set out and because of the Torah.
