During the first week of the new school year we celebrate and learn all about our class Saints.
We had such an amazing time at sports day. The weather was glorious and we all got into our house colours to take part in a range of fun activities.
The ten schools in The Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust participated in the Bishop’s annual Good Shepherd Celebration at St. Anne’s Cathedral on Friday 11 May 2018.
On Tuesday 1 May 2018 the Mini Vinnies went to see the Little Sisters Of The Poor.
On Monday 5 February 2018 we were delighted to welcome two of our parish St Vincent de Paul leaders to assembly to receive the £1077.01 raised for St Joseph's SVP as our advent charity.

The Mini Vinnies assisted Harrogate Rotary Club on Tuesday 31 October by planting crocus bulbs at Walker's Passage near The Stray.
What have Year 5 been learning about so far this year?
The ten schools in The Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust participated in the Bishop’s annual Good Shepherd Service at St. Anne’s Cathedral on Friday 19 May 2017.
We had a wonderful afternoon on Friday 31 March when the whole school took part in a sponsored walk for the Good Shepherd appeal.
Yesterday was the Feast day of St Joseph and today we celebrated this in our whole school Mass at church with Father Neil, parents and our parishioners.
On Friday 3 March 2017 our Year 4 pupils took part in the 'Kids in the Limelight' (Kids Aloud) concert at the Royal Hall in Harrogate.

John Paul 2 Foundation 4 Sport chose St Stephen's, Skipton to launch its new ‘Aim High For All’ Virtues programme (AHFA), endorsed by Cardinal Vincent Nichols.
On Thursday 24 November 2016 we were honoured to welcome Bishop Marcus to school to lead us in prayer and officially open the new EYFS/KS1 outdoor area.
The youngest children at St Joseph's Harrogate will model themselves on their patron saint and prepare to work hard, play hard and pray hard, as they welcome Bishop Marcus to open and bless their school’s new outdoor learning experience.
We supported Harrogate Homeless Project during harvest by collecting donations of non-perishable foods to help homeless people in Harrogate.
The new outside provision area is proving to be a great success!

Mini Vinnies is an organisation that encourages young people to turn their concerns into action and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing since our inauguration in February 2016!

Three of the schools in the original Diocesan 'CMAT' proposals are currently undergoing a consultation process to join The Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust. Two additional schools have also been invited to join the Trust.
