St Mary’s Horsforth, Catholic Voluntary Academy

Office Manager

Permanent and full time, 37 hours per week, Term Time only plus 5 addtional days.  NJC Salary Scale C1 - actual salary £17,945 - £19,679. 

Required as soon as possible, the Governors of this outstanding Catholic Voluntary Academy are looking to appoint an experienced and well organised professional to efficiently manage their busy school office providing a full range of administrative services effectively as required by the school.  The post holder will also be responsible for one other receptionist / administrator.  The successful candidate will be friendly with a ‘can do’ attitude, the ability to stay calm under pressure and have a flexible approach.

St Mary’s, Menston

Level 1 Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term until 31 August 2019, 28 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 additional training days.

Salary NJC Scale:  A1/B1, £16,394 - £18,672.  (actual salary £10,699 - £11,847 per annum)

Required immediately, the Governors are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in their learning, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.  Duties will include supporting pupils with barriers to learning, establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.  Previous experience of working with pupils with emotional/behavioural needs or communication difficulties is desirable but not essential.

You will be an excellent communicator with effective and efficient organisation skills, with the ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.  Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

General Kitchen Assistant

Temporary for 6 months, 25 hours per week, term time only. Salary Scale A1 (actual salary £9,320 per annuam)

Hours of work: 9.15am until 2.30pm with a 15 minute unpaid break each day. Uniform provided.

Required for September 2018, we are looking to appoint a General Kitchen Assistant on temporary 6 months contract to join ourr catering team to assist with the provision of a high quality catering service for our students and staff.  You will be an enthusiastic and flexible team player with excellent communication skills.  Duties include food preparation, serving food at morning break and lunchtime, washing up, operating tills and cleaning duties as required.  A knowledge of food hygiene standards is desirable

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Harrogate

General Teaching Assistant with SEND Experience

32.5 hours per week, TTO plus 2 additional days. Fixed term contract initially until 31 August 2019. NJC Salary scale A1/B1, scale point 10 (Actual Salary - £12,418)

Required as soon as possible, the Governors are looking to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant with SEND experience to work in their school. The successful candidate will have recent experience of working with children in school or in a child care setting. You will be caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of young children and be an effective communicator with pupils and staff.
